The Private Dick Series
In the summer of 2002 I took a mixed media collage class with the
fabulous Ann Baldwin.
These are some of my paintings that I did in her class as well as some I finished
afterwards.
I've entitled these painting "The Private Dick Series" because I used images form old detective magazines and was inspired by the themes of death, murder, as well as the colors of the covers on these old magazines.
Left: "8", 16x20, acrylic on canvasette
Right: "The Prevention of Death Through Science" 16x20, acrylic on cavasette
Both untitled (so far)
